Dashboard
OfficeBooks provides all members of your team with a common operational dashboard. The Dashboard serves as a central repository of business activity information, key business metrics, and most importantly, action alerts.
By monitoring the
action alerts
, you can ensure that operational requirements are resolved in a timely fashion. When shortages arise, OfficeBooks alerts you to generate manufacturing works orders or purchase orders. When sales are ready to ship, the action window provides an alert.
The
Events window
is a useful way to keep everyone informed. Events are automatically generated as your staff interacts with OfficeBooks. If Jane creates a quote for your customer, an event would be displayed to let everyone know. Interested in more details about the quote? Simply click on the event to view the quotation. In the same way, you can click on an event about a work order being completed to view the work order details.
High-level financial performance metrics are displayed in the
Business Outlook
window to let you know how the business is going. Your current order backlog value, the current month’s bookings and billings, the value of sales scheduled to ship in the current month, the total value of outstanding purchase orders, and your current inventory value.
